This is the first center in Surguja district to provide medical retina facility, squint, and glaucoma surgery.

Advanced cataract surgery is performed here by the MICS phacoemulsification technique which is painless and injection free.

Cataract

A cataract is a commonly occurring age-related disorder that causes clouding or opacity of the lens inside the eye. It causes gradual loss of vision and finally blindness.

RETINA

The retinal diseases are some of the most common causes of a permanent loss of vision in many patients, if not treated on time. Diabetic retinopathy is complication of diabetes and cause damage to retina.

GLAUCOMA

It is a group of eye condition causing increase in eye pressure (IOP) causing damage to optic nerve and slowly progressive loss of vision.

CORNEA

Cornea is clear front surface of the eye. It lies directly infront of iris and pupil.

PAEDIATRIC OPHTHALMOLOGY AND SQUINT

Amblyopia or lazy eye occurs in childhood due to incomplete development of vision. Squint is a condition where eyes point in different direction.

NEURO-OPHTHALMOLOGY

Neuro-ophthalmology deals with disorders and management of optic nerve and its pathway in brain.
